Buda’s World Famous Chili



  1. Brown beef with onions, drain off excess fat.
  2. Empty tomatoes and juice into colander, reserving tomato juice. Smash tomatoes by hand and drop into large pot.
  3. Add reserved tomato juice, half a can of additional water, and remaining ingredients to the large pot.
  4. Simmer covered for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
  5. Uncover and simmer to desired thickness. Stirring more frequently as chili thickens.
